A Question We Get on Many Calls…
“If I share my receivables data with Reklaim Credit Solutions, will my customers find out it was me who reported them?”
The answer?
No…They won’t.
Here is exactly WHY, and exactly HOW.
WHY credit bureaus protect the contributor, not the subject???
This is not a Reklaim Credit Solutions invention. It is how commercial credit rating has worked for over a century.
Dun & Bradstreet. Experian Business. Equifax Commercial. The company being rated is visible. The companies contributing the data are not.
That asymmetry is the foundation of the entire system. Three reasons it HAS to be:
- Antitrust. If vendors could see each other’s payment terms, balances, and aging on a shared customer, that drifts into information-sharing territory regulators do not love. Anonymized contribution into a third-party bureau is the established safe path.
- Contributor incentive. No operator will share AR data if it tips a customer off to their internal credit posture. Anonymity is what makes the network exist at all. That’s how all credit agencies work.
- Tortious interference risk. A named vendor publicly stating “Customer X is 90 days past due” has real legal exposure. Aggregated, de-identified data reported by a credit bureau is a different legal animal entirely.
How we actually do it at Reklaim Credit Solutions ???
Data leaves your system tagged. Inside our pipeline, vendor identifiers are de-identified and are replaced with anonymous UUIDs before any scoring or reporting logic runs. We apply a minimum contributor threshold for every counterparty before a rating is published. If the data on a counterparty comes from too few sources, we suppress the output rather than risk reverse identification.
What subscribers see is counterparty-level only. Aging buckets. Payment behavior. Trend. Score. Recommended limit. They NEVER see the vendor list. They never see the underlying invoices. They never see anything that lets a buyer trace a data point back to a specific seller.
The neural network sees patterns across the network. Subscribers see the score. Contributors stay invisible.
That is the deal commercial credit has run on for 100+ years. We are just bringing it to cannabis. Finally!
If you are an operator sitting on AR data and waiting to see how this gets handled before contributing, this is your answer.
